UKAYRoC 2011 Prizes

The winners prize for UKAYRoC 2011 will be announced later into the competition.  The prize for the 2010 challenge was a week's expenses-paid trip to NASA in Houston, Texas.

The specially-tailored, Space Camp included:

• a day at the NASA's Challenger Center for Space Science Education including
  • dinner, a NASA talk and a visit to the game zone;
• two days at the Space Center, Houston; including
  • a talk from NASA rocket engineers;
  • a VIP tour of the Johnston Space Center including the rocket park;
  • an evening with NASA - music, science and dinner at a NASA astronaut or engineer's house
• a day at the Kemah Boardwalk tourist spot with fairground rides, including
  • dinner and social event with astronauts and NASA scientists at the Outpost NASA restaurant
• a day's shopping and other visits.

The winning team also won a visit to the Farnborough International Airshow 2010 where they competed with the US and French winning teams for the International Trophy.

All this AND a cheque for £1,000 for the winning team's school.
